Aiman’s contributions to social and human development, her advocacy for social causes, and her substantial impact on the cultural landscape have resulted in many humanitarian titles, such as UNESCO Ambassador, “Kazakhstan Yenbek Eri” (People’s artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan), UNESCO’s “Artist for Peace” and rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts (KazNUA).
Her humanitarian efforts are greatly aided by her musical excellence. Her talent graced the best concert halls of the world: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre, Musikverein, Gaveau, Cortot, Santa Cecilia, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, and Berlin her world-wide recognition is evidenced in her receiving the medal “For Merit to the culture of the Republic of Poland – Gloria Artis” and in the fact that Aiman Mussakhajayeva is the first ever Kazakh artist to have signed a contract with the world’s most respectable and prestigious music label – Deutsche Grammophon.
