FiveBrass is a brass quintet distinguished by its energetic interpretative style and unwavering commitment to artistic excellence, inspiring audiences and enriching the Slovenian music scene. The ensemble has been active since 2024 under the artistic direction of Prof. Jure Gradišnik. Despite its short existence, FiveBrass has already achieved significant successes. In 2024, they performed a series of five concerts as part of the Jesenske serenade series organized by Glasbena Mladina Ljubljana. In 2025, they secured first prize and a gold plaque at the national competition TEMSIG, along with a special award for their interpretation of Anders Hillborg’s Quintet.
The ensemble consists of students from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, united by their passion for chamber music and their mission to promote brass instruments both domestically and internationally. They endeavor to make the repertoire for brass quintet more accessible to a broader audience, as they regularly perform in concert halls and at cultural events.
Individually, the members are also successful as soloists, earning top honors at national and international competitions. They frequently collaborate with prominent professional ensembles, including the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, and the Slovenian Army Orchestra.

Complimentary tickets, courtesy of Večer, GenLan and Primorske novice can be collected an hour before the concert at the venue. Reservations are not possible; spaces are limited.
